- Women still make less money than men, in fact the pay gap is ā¬300,000 over a life time, thatās the price of a house! And the Emancipation Monitor noted that 2020 has seen unemployment rise throughout the year, and women were affected more than men. In Q3 of this year, 3,5 percent of women were unemployed compared to 3,1 percent of men (in 2019, these figures were 2,7 and 2,8 percent respectively).
- Women often only work part-time which affects their career growth, income and pension.
- Women on average live 3-5 years longer than men of similar age which means there is less money to cover a longer period.
