Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves

I have been so inspired by all of your stories, the fantastic connections you’ve made, the lovely projects that have been set up and the list goes on and on. Because of all these great developments I decided to write 2 columns this week. One for Harper’s Bazaar and one for Holistik.

You ladies are ROCKIN’ it and by doing so you are inspiring me to continue my BrandedU sisterhood movement. This week I want you to look at 2 BrandedU sisters rocking it. Check out http://www.talkingprints.org/ by our sister Pekula Starke, she is making bags in Surinam with Maroon women, teaching them a craft how wonderful is that? And my sister Bianca Blom just lauched a kickstarter campaign from her comfortable high heeled shoes here.
