So what is it about?
Countless studies underscore the advantages of having gender balance in management teams and boards.
Yet, the question remains: why are still so few women at the top?
Currently, men still make up most leadership positions. While this is often viewed as a driver of inequality, we believe it presents an unparalleled opportunity for men to take a proactive role in advancing gender representation within their organizations.
Â
BrandedU strives to increase womenâs visibility in business and get more equal representation in executive leadership and pipelines. Thatâs why three years ago, BrandedU launched âMen as Advocatesâ: an annual event to invite men to the conversation on gender equity. The initiative was inspired by co- host Maarten van Rossumâs former experiences as a diplomat in Afghanistan, where he learned firsthand from male and female locals about the urgent action needed from men for Afghan womenâs rights to be recognized.

Women’s Visibility Week 2022
Womenâs Visibility Week is a 5-day breakfast event for women in business to connect with aspiring and relatable women mentors. Every day is hosted by a different company in a different field (finance, tech, media, manufacturing, leadership), you can join for one, two or as many mornings as you like.
This cross-company mentorship program was created from the belief that âyou canât be what you canât seeâ. Itâs a way to develop women leaders in a group environment, enable the exchange of lessons learned from experience, garner first-hand advice from todayâs women leaders and discuss topics that will accelerate womenâs full potential.
Mijn naam is peter
Women are strongly underrepresented in decision-making positions: of the 94 CEOs in the Netherlands, 5 are women. Women have much less influence than men. Itâs time to change this! That’s why BrandedU and WOMEN Inc. are asking all women  to change their first name to Peter on LinkedIn between January 24 and January 28, to draw attention to the unequal gender distribution in the workplace.
Refugee Talent Hub is collaborating with BrandedU
Weâre partnering up with Refugee Talent Hub to offer a great opportunity to women with a refugee background to build a network and kick start their career in The Netherlands.
