I love Katy Perry. She is just pure pop and hey I love me some pop music. But why I mention this track of hers is because it reminded me of my core values. Those essentials that are part of me. That part of me that is my compass through life. The stuff I base my decisions on like:
– What do I really want?
– Who do I want to associate with?
– Will this bring me joy?

Keeping it real
This is something I also love about Stephanie Afrifa, one of the speakers at the next BrandedU seminar. She is so in tune with her values and it shows. The moment you meet her via tv or in real life, you can see that her core values are part of her. Why? Because she is authentic. If you stay true to your core values you remain authentic. In a world inundated by influences especially now with social media, we need some things to keep it real.
